Xbox Gaming in South Africa

If you've been holding off buying an Xbox 360, now might be a good time to smash that piggybank and make it happen. Both Makro and Expansys are now advertising the 60GB Pro Value Bundle for R2999.00, slashing nearly a grand off the old price.

Some may argue this is just a price correction to what we saw before the local price increases earlier this year, yet the Arcade and Elite prices have remained the same (for now), and seems more likely a move to finish off the last of the 60GB Pro bundles.

Microsoft SA were not able to confirm anything, but with most of the other South African retailers listing the Pro console as 'Out of Stock', and local Xbox 360 distributor Comztek struggling to secure any new stock, all signs point to the impending Xbox 360 Pro discontinuation and finally an Xbox 360 Elite price drop.
