Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Anyone looking for something new in Modern Warfare 2 has a bit of a wait coming. According to Activision's Thomas Tippl, there won't be another map pack add-on until late 2010, when Call of Duty: Black Ops is scheduled to ship.

The next map pack will, however, be put together by Infinity Ward. Well, what's left of Infinity Ward, anyway. That's minus their lead designers, but whatever.

And expect to pay another $15 for the pack too. "The $15 price point has still provided a fantastic value to gamers," says Tippl. "We think that has worked." I'm still working out why stuff that's overpriced is somehow "fantastic value".
