Shadow Complex claims new XBLA sales record

Despite generating a bit of controversy over its association with notorious gay hater Orson Scott Card, Shadow Complex managed to push 200,000 units in its launch week, becoming XBLA's biggest ever selling single player title and proving there's no press like bad press. Of course, a Metacritic index of upper 90s probably helped.

"We're really flattered by all the great things fans and critics have said about Shadow Complex," says Michael Capps of Epic Games. "Chair's goal was to make a gorgeous game with tons of action, addictive challenges, and a great sense of exploration -- and they knocked it out of the park.  We’re so proud to have Shadow Complex join the Epic portfolio. If you haven’t already downloaded it on Xbox LIVE, give the demo a try."

Or better yet, skip the demo and just buy it. We need to fund a sequel.
