Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Hot off the Best of Shows Everywhere awards circuit, Klei Entertainment's downloadable action game Shank is now scheduled for release on XBLA on 25 August for 1200MS Points.

"We committed ourselves completely during the development of Shank and it's been extremely gratifying to see the support we've received from the gaming community and press," said Jamie Cheng, CEO of Klei Entertainment. "Watching people play and seeing them smile; it's fantastic to see them latch onto the things we love most about Shank -- the art, the story and of course the gameplay."

It's the classic gangland rags-to-revenge tale, with protagonist Shank off on a mission to murder pretty much everyone on the screen. The game also now includes a prequel mission, playable in local co-op.
