Ska Studios has announced a sequel to Dream.Build.Play 2007 winner and last year's XBLA cult hit, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai. Like its predecessor, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile is a 2D action platform, with loads of gore and gristly bits. The game also introduces new weapons, including the unambiguously titled Violence Hammer and Painkiller, and plays out over two solo character campaigns, 50 arcade challenges, and something called the Dish Challenge.
"Put simply, we are taking The Dishwasher to a bigger, better and more badass level," said Ska Studios founder James Silva. "Fluid animation, insane combos, disturbing weapons and creeping mental illness are set to collide in a very bad way when this game launches."
Vampire Smile is set to release "when it's done", although it's going on show at PAX East in March, so expect some more news on it then.
