So we heard the news back in May at the E3 Expo that Social Networking was to hit the Xbox 360... as of when, well - we weren't really informed.
Microsoft have kindly informed us that we can have the freedom of the two booming social networks in our very own living rooms just before Christmas 2009.
It seems that Microsoft won't be allocating to its dashboard a separate browser, unlike Sony's PS3. Instead, a new channel will be added to the existing bunch. The current dashboard content will be reformatted to make way for the new addition thus creating the supposed "lean-back" view reminiscent of current-gen consoles.
Clearly this partnership will open a lot of doors for both parties concerned. While Microsoft greatly anticipates more users, Facebook and Twitter will both play host to a new platform. Talk about a win-win situation.
Excited for the next NXE update?
