SEGA has just announced that Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 has been delayed until the "latter half of this year", citing quality assurances that more or less translate to, "It's just not good enough to release now, lol".
This news also comes alongside a somewhat unexpected - and certainly unprecedented - announcement that the developer is mixing "mixed internal suggestions alongside fan feedback to make some new, positive changes to the game". Which probably more or less translates to, "The testers hate it."
In the meantime, though, here's a brand new trailer to keep you going.
