Sony grabs Ghostbusters licence [Update]

Sony has revealed in Sydney that the company will be publishing the beleaguered Ghostbusters title, developed by Terminal Reality and just one month from release. The game was chucked by Activision last year following their acquisition of Vivendi.

This publishing agreement would suggest the game will become, at the very least, a timed exclusive on PlayStation platforms, but may have locked away the Xbox version in a containment grid for all eternity. In that case, I have to be the first person to say, "There is no Xbox version, there is only Zuul."

[UPDATE] Atari has informed Eurogamer that the Xbox 360 version will still be released, but only "later in the year".
