Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Original Story: UK-based Black Rock Studio has put together a demo for the upcoming action racer Split/Second, allowing Xbox 360 gamers (and only Xbox 360 gamers) to try out the airport level of the game sometime this week, according to Major Nelson's latest podcast.

"There's a demo exclusively out on Xbox, which is out this week I believe," said Split/Second director Nick Baynes. "So everyone will be able to play the airport track very, very soon on Xbox 360."

With Forza 3 and Need for Speed: Shift taking care of the more serious end of the racing genre, there seems to be a gap in the market for more explosive action racing, a gap which Split/Second and Bizarre Creations' Blur will be competing to fill.
