Xbox Gaming in South Africa

NowGamer.com seems to have the inside track on movements over at Black Rock Studio, revealing today that not only will the forthcoming action racer Split/Second be released on 21 May, but that it will also now be officially titled Split/Second: Velocity.

Split/Second: Velocity takes place in the city of Velo (Velocity. Get it?), a city which is 'rigged for destruction', which sounds quite a lot like Johannesburg, to be honest. Apparently it's all about a "race to be first across the finish line". That's from the official site, that is. Is there any other reason to race? Still, the footage released so far is looking pretty explosive to say the least, and this could be a breath of fresh air for arcade racing fans.
