Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Ster Kinekor and Bethesda Softworks has announced a new agreement that will see Ster Kinekor taking over distribution duties for two highly anticipated games: RAGE and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in South Africa.

It's currently unclear as to whether the agreement will see Ster Kinekor taking over as the exclusive distribution partner for all upcoming Bethesda Softworks titles in SA - which until recently were handled by Megarom - but with the current deal encompassing the biggest highlights of Bethesda's 2011 line-up, it wouldn't be a surprise.

Update: A Ster Kinekor representative has confirmed that the deal includes all upcoming Bethesda published games in South Africa.

RAGE is scheduled to release on 7 October, followed by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on 11 November.
