New details have been revealed to give some insight into what gamers can expect from Ubisoft's recently announced aerial warfare sequel, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2, and so far it looks like virtual cockpit junkies have many reasons to be excited.
As we have grown to expect from Tom Clancy titles, H.A.W.X. 2 takes a look into the near future, offering gamers the chance to pilot an array of experimental prototype fighters. Ubisoft Romania seem to be cranking up the intensity for this one, with close range dogfights, take-offs and landings on both standard airfields and aircraft carriers, precision night bombing missions and air-to-air refuelling to worry about during missions.
H.A.W.X. 2 will also feature high resolution commercial satellite imagery to recreate Moscow, the Persian Gulf and other famous locations, and an improved focus on close up action, with cockpit glass shattering under fire.
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 is set to take flight sometime in spring 2010.
