After a somewhat limited multiplayer experience in the original HAWX, Ubisoft has revealed that they are cranking things up a notch for the sequel, with both a local and online multiplayer mode, with up to eight players.
Eurogamer recently had a chance to try out the new mode, revealing a team deathmatch type setup, with points allocated for destroying the enemies land or air forces, including anti-aircraft guns, radar dishes and tanks. Players will have access to any of the games 32 aircraft, allowing teams to pick the right aircraft to deal with the different scenarios, such as aerial dogfights or destroying ground units.
Along with the new multiplayer mode, players can take to the skies in campaign, free-flight, arcade and survival modes, all playable in co-op with up to four players.
Tom Clancy's HAWX 2 is set to land in stores around 3 September.
