According to Never Know Tech, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk has let slip the name of his next skateboarding video game, entitled Tony Hawk: Shred, via his Twitter account.

Tony Hawk: Shred. There, I said it. Actually, I named it. Somewhere a PR team is reeling.

And sure enough, a PR team somewhere did reel in horror at his premature announcement, because his tweet was subsequently removed shortly thereafter.

Hopefully Shred will be a vast improvement over the last title, Tony Hawk: RIDE, which failed miserably with a 46% Metacritic score, and didn't even receive a local release.
