I'm sure even Tony Hawk was disappointed with Tony Hawk: Ride, which was severly panned by the gaming press and public alike, but that hasn't stopped Activision from giving the plastic skateboard peripheral idea another try. Today the mega-publisher announced that Tony Hawk: Shred will be out in Europe on 29 October, which should mean it will be on local store shelves around that date too.
As you may already know, Shred sees the Tony Hawk franchise branching out to incorporate snowboarding for the first time, and the game once again comes bundled with a Back To The Future-esque skateboard which you can now check out in detail thanks to the games official website which has just been launched.
You'd have to imagine that if things don't improve drastically for this one, the Tony Hawk franchise as we know it may be up for the chop, so let's see what happens when Tony Hawk: Shred rail slides into stores at the end of the month.
