Xbox Gaming in South Africa

2K Sports has announced that Top Spin 4, the next in a so far successful line of Top Spin tennis titles, is under development at 2K Czech and is currently pencilled in for release sometime in 2011. Considering that attention to detail and an affinity for realism has been the name of the game for the Top Spin franchise so far, it should come as no surprise to hear that that tradition is set to continue with this, the fourth game in the series.

“Top Spin 4 is shaping up to be the most realistic and exhilarating tennis game in the Top Spin franchise,” said Greg Thomas, president of product development for 2K Sports. “For this iteration, the development team is focused on delivering a bold new take on the sport of tennis by allowing gamers to experience first-hand an uncanny level of realism in the player and stadium models, authentic audio captured directly from real tennis matches, and all-new innovative controls to dominate the competition.”

Also included in the announcement comes the news that an exclusive vintage Andre Agassi playable character will be available as a pre-order bonus, but we have not yet received confirmation whether we will see that in South Africa, or whether the character will have a removable mullet wig.
