After teasing us with a bunch of mysterious movie parody posters, Ubisoft has officially announced Bloody Good Time, a new first-person multiplayer shooter for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PC.
Developed by Scottish studio Outerlight, and based on Valve's powerful Source engine, Bloody Good Time puts players on a Hollywood set - such as a spring-break beach house, or a Vegas hotel - and lets them loose with an arsenal of "wacky weapons" to kill their competitors in "nasty and unexpected ways". Weapons range from guns, a frying pan, and even an exploding remote-controlled rat. Actually, that last one is kinda wacky.
Bloody Good Time is set to mercilessly take on stereotypical B-movie characters on Xbox LIVE Arcade on 27 October, with pricing still to be announced.
In the meantime, check out the first screenshots, along with the announcement trailer which introduces us to "Director X", the horror movie producer, and his first casting session.
