THQ announced the release of two playable demos today available for download from Xbox Live Marketplace. First off is the singleplayer demo for Volition developed, Red Faction: Guerrilla, and the other is the Yuke's developed, mixed martial arts game, UFC 2009 Undisputed.
For those that are unaware, Red Faction: Guerrilla is an open world, third person shooter which has real physics based destruction as its gameplay hook thanks to the new GeoMod 2.0 Destruction Engine. Thanks to the newly released demo, players can try out one of the singleplayer missions that promises to be action packed.

As for the mixed martial arts simulator, UFC 2009 Undisputed, the demo will allow players the opportunity to test out the new unique gameplay controls in an educational tutorial mode. Once players have grasped the controls, they will be treated to an exhibition bout between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
