Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft has announced that fans of the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be able to watch the action unfold in the octagon live and on-demand from 1 December on Xbox LIVE.

UFC on Xbox LIVE will get its first live pay-per-view event with UFC 140, streaming direct from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on 10 December. Coverage will include interviews, event previews, press conferences and weigh-ins, all streamed in HD.

Unfortunately, as with most of the TV entertainment services on Xbox LIVE, UFC on Xbox LIVE is currently only available to US and Canadian Gamertags, and most likely will be region locked, so local gamers won't be able to take advantage of the new service just yet, at least, not without some VPN trickery.
