Pearl Jam, one of the last surviving members from the grunge movement, are no strangers to Rock Band, having previously released their classic Ten as a full album download just a few months ago.
Now Billboard has reported in an article on the bands forthcoming release, Backspacer, that the new album will also be available as a full album DLC on the same day as the CD hits retail stores.
The DLC experiment seems to have worked well for them in the past, with sources at MTV claiming something like 850 000 downloads of Ten so far. Backspacer will be in the shops and on Xbox LIVE Marketplace on September 20.
