Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Sega Europe has announced that Vanquish, the next creative outburst from the masters of over-the-top action games, Platinum Games, will be blasting into stores across Europe on 22 October and North America on 19 October. As usual, we'll just go ahead and assume that the title will be out locally about the same time too.

What's more, gamers who pre-order the game from specific retailers will score the exclusive Tri-Weapon Pack DLC, available via Xbox LIVE Marketplace on launch day. The pack includes a Boost Machine Gun, Anti-Armor Pistol and a Laser Cannon, but then again, as we know from Shinji Mikami's recent efforts, it doesn't matter which gun you use because once the fireworks start you won't know what the hell is going on. But in a good way.

We are yet to hear from local distributor Nu Metro whether the pre-order bonus will be available locally, but as soon as we have an answer we'll be sure to let you know.
