The official retail price of Kinect is still a matter of some speculation and corporate prevarication, but US retailer Walmart has joined the $200 gang with a Kinect bundle that includes a free game and in-store $30 gift card.
For $199.99 (around R2,200), customers can pre-order the device and one of its launch titles - including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One, Dance Central, Joy Ride, Kinectimals, Kinect Sports, and Kinect Adventures - as well as an additional game off that list for $60 (or $50 for Harry Potter).
Microsoft has yet to comment on the matter, of course, but it's yet another retailer suggesting a rather pricey $150 (around R1,650) price tag for the upcoming motion controller.
