Xbox Gaming in South Africa

With our beloved games industry growing at an alarming pace, the sheer volume of gaming-related news and reviews that comes knocking at our door far outweighs the time we have to cover all of it. To stay ahead of the game we are looking for new staff writers with a passion for gaming to join the XboxGaming team - a job which just about guarantees a one way ticket to a glamorous life of fame and glory *.

What we really need are people with a finger on the pulse of the games industry - people who know their Call of Duty's from their Medal of Honor's; the kind of people who would gladly name their firstborn child Master Chief. But there's more to it than just a love of gaming, you also need to know your way around a sentence. While we don't expect the prose of Shakespeare to flow from your virtual pen, the ability to craft eloquent and entertaining articles is essential.

Those looking to write reviews will need an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription - both for reviewing Xbox LIVE Arcade titles and to be able to review the multiplayer components of games - while news contributors should ideally have enough free time in the week to keep tabs on industry news and to put together a news story or two each day.

By this point you're obviously aching to hear just what's in it for you. Well, XboxGaming is privately run and maintained, and as such the positions offered are unpaid - but you will be generously compensated for your time and effort with MS Points and other free stuff (including the promo copies of the titles you review).

And that's pretty much all there is to it. With the holiday season fast approaching, we can expect a torrent of news and reviews to come our way, so we would ideally like to find the right additions to our team as soon as possible.
