Konami has just confirmed with Eurogamer that retrotastic X-Men Arcade for the Xbox LIVE Arcade - announced back in October - will be launching 15 December, two months ahead of a February PSN release.
The game, a 1992 coin-op classic, is getting an HD makeover from Backbone Entertainment, previously responsible for XBLA's Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, 1942: Joint Strike, and Commando 3.
No pricing details have been announced yet.
Update: Konami has since told Joystiq that X-Men Arcade will in fact be launching on PSN on 14 Dec. in North America, with a European release date still to be confirmed. This doesn't affect the XBLA release, but does mean it's no longer a timed exclusive, at least in the US.
