Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division has just released their third quarter financials, with the report showing a total of 40.2 million Xbox 360s sold since launch. By year, that looks like this:

• Fiscal Year 2005-06 - 5 million
• Fiscal Year 2006-07 - 11.6 million
• Fiscal Year 2007-08 - 20.3 million
• Fiscal Year 2008-09 - 31.4 million
• Fiscal Year 2009-10 - 40.2 million

With Project Natal releasing in time for Christmas, as well as a rumoured slim model coming in around the same time, that number is looking very likely to break 50 million by next year.
