Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Microsoft has revealed the line-up of games coming to this year's Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party promotion thanks to a new trailer which apparently was posted by accident by Xbox US. Nevertheless, we now know that the promotion will see the likes of Alan Wake's American Nightmare, I Am Alive, and the action shooter Nexuiz. Check out the line-up below:

Alan Wake's American Nightmare (Microsoft Studios)

After the events of Alan Wake, our eponymous hero finds himself in the middle of a new adventure in Arizona, where his own words again hold the key to defeating his evil twin, the malevolent Mr. Scratch, who spreads darkness where he goes. Now more experienced at dealing with the weird and horrific, Wake is determined to turn the tide.

I Am Alive (Ubisoft)

In I Am Alive, players will be challenged by both their environment and their enemies. Stamina and resource management are key when being exposed to deadly atmospheres and scaling enormous buildings in search of supplies. The unique combat system requires players to utilize intimidation: cowards are easily swayed with an empty gun, while other enemies will put players to the test.

Nexuiz (THQ Partners)

In Nexuiz, developed by Denver-based IllFonic and powered by CryEngine 3, players will dominate opponents with their weapons of choice in futuristic arenas in which up to eight players continually alter the laws of physics by triggering 100 different Dynamic Mutators that change the match on the fly. With millions of Mutator combinations, no game is ever the same.

Warp (EA Partners)

Warp is a puzzle-based stealth action game where you play Zero, a little alien with a big score to settle! Escape the Commander and his labyrinthine facility and use your arsenal of alien abilities to stealth, stun, or explode your way to freedom.

No word on release dates yet, but going on previous House Party promotions, we can expect the first game to hit Xbox LIVE sometime in February.

Update: Microsoft has confirmed that the 20120 Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party will kick off on 15 February 2012, with one game a week.
