Xbox LIVE is popular. So popular in fact, that a new member signs up for the online gaming service every two seconds, according to Xbox LIVE's Robin Burrowes.

Speaking at the London Games Conference, Burrowes credited not only blockbuster franchises such as Call of Duty but also the addition of other entertainment services such as live and on-demand TV services, along with the Xbox 360's hands-free motion controller, Kinect, for the service's growth, which has gone from 50,000 members in 2002 to a staggering 35 million members at the end of 2010.
