Xbox Gaming in South Africa

The Xbox LIVE Rewards department has just launched the Gamer IQ Trivia Challenge, a new Xbox.com promotion with loads of free stuff up for grabs.

As the name suggests, participants answer daily questions on popular games, earning themselves points for every correct answer. These points are then used to enter weekly and instant daily prize draws ranging from 100 MSP to 4000 MSP, as well as the main prize of 10,000 MS Points.

Other bonuses for participants includes a free Halo Banshee avatar item for those who spend 200 MSP or more, and 400 MSP back for those who purchase the Halo: Reach - Defiant Map Pack or Halo: Reach Games on Demand.

Obviously, you'll have to be registered for the Xbox LIVE Reward program first - if you've not already done that, head on over here and get busy - and so far, it's invite only, so check your mail!

The promotion is officially only open to UK and US account holders and is set to run until 15 May, although locals with UK accounts have been invited to participate, so they might be able to get away with it.
