Xbox Gaming in South Africa

Major Nelson sends word that the Xbox LIVE Update Preview Program is now open for sign ups. If chosen, you'll get to experience some of the upcoming dashboard features such as Twitter, Facebook and Zune integration before the official update is released later this year.

To be considered for the program, just head on over to the Microsoft Connect site and complete a quick survey. Then it's a matter of waiting to hear from Microsoft if you're accepted - which should be in about 1 week.

As with the last preview program, Microsoft will be accepting "multiple thousands of participants", so your chances are pretty good. You could, of course, just wait a little longer for the official update which is expected around 17 November.
