Oh, we'd totally forgotten about Castlevania: Lords of Shadow after its E3 2009 unveiling, but Konami has just reminded us (and, presumably, everyone else) with this subtle deployment of new visual assets.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a sort of franchise reboot, coming in as an action adventure otherwise unrelated to other titles in the series. It's set in Southern Europe during the Middle Ages, amid some sort of Heaven/Hell apocalypse. Soooo... Darksiders in medieval Europe. Sounds like fun.
