Being Bungie Day today, the Halo 3 developers decided to release the first real screenshots for the final 3 multiplayer maps: Heretic, Citadel and Longshore.
First up is Heretic, which Halo 2 players will recognise as a remake of Midship. This close quarters map is great for CTF, and perfect for earning a Killionaire medal with a 16 player King of the Hill match. Just as fast paced is Citadel, which is another small map with close quarter combat in mind. Finally, Longshore changes up the scenery with its multitude of industrial buildings, elevated walks, and open inlets of Old Mombasa, featuring a large playing area suited to those big team battles.
All the Halo 3 multiplayer maps, along with these 3 new maps, will be included with Halo 3: ODST when its released on September 22. So no more excuses for not having the latest maps, ok?!
