Disney's announced a new TRON game. It sounds like a bad punchline, doesn't it? Well, it's not. Disney's really financing another TRON game, titled TRON: Evolution, because the Disney people have already blown their annual creative budget on that new frog prince movie. Obviously it's set to tie in with the upcoming film, TRON: Legacy, although it seems the game falls somewhere between this film and the original. Officially, it "conveys the story of significant events within the TRON mythology". Wow, "mythology" is quite a grand word for a bunch of guys pretending to ride virtual reality bikes ...

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands announced

Surprise! Ubisoft has announced Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. It appears to be a console and handheld exclusive, is currently scheduled for a May 2010 release, and "will feature many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince of Persia brand". Oh, and apparently it also "marks the return to the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time storyline", so yeah, looks like Other-Prince and Elika are off doing something else for a bit. Probably still arguing ...
