Alan Wake cinematic trailer maintains the mystery

Alan Wake, which first debuted way back at E3 2005, has received a fresh new homepage, along with a new cinematic trailer. The trailer looks great, but unfortunately it doesn't provide any new information on what can be expected in the way of gameplay.

From what I can deduce - it will involve a flash-light and a gun, set in a dark and creey forest combined with dark and creepy people. Sounds like Alone in the Dark... but hopefully it won't suck as much.

wow. just wow. The graphics are AMAZING, for one.
And it seems so intense, it just grabs you.
I'm stoked. cant wait to play.
I think Alan Wake is an author of a mystery thriller book
or something, and his book is coming true.
everything he wrote in the book is actually happening, in his home town. Maybe he based the book in a town
that resembled his hometown and that's why everything is happening there.
I don't know, but I'm interested and anticipated..
