While we've had a flood of information on the single-player side of Call of Duty: Black Ops, the highly anticipated multiplayer mode has been kept in the dark. Until now that is, with the first multiplayer details being revealed in a teaser trailer.
While the gameplay is similar to that of Modern Warfare 2 (why change a winning formula), there are a few new gadgets and toys to play around with, such as a ballistic knife, radio controlled, remote detonating car, and of course, the crossbow seen in the single-player mode. But probably the biggest reveal - and about time! - is the footage showing off a video recording and editing feature. Whether or not Treyarch will enable a way for players to push their footage to Youtube or some web interface is unknown, but it's certainly a step in the right direction for those looking to show off their skills to the world without the need for expensive video capturing devices.
Check out the first multiplayer teaser trailer below, with the full version expected to land on 1 September.
